Pricing FAQ

Pricing questions.

Quick answers on workspaces, projects, members, and when private repo docs become shared context.

What is an indexed file?

An indexed file is a Markdown or MDX document RepoWiki has discovered from a connected GitHub docs source and made available for reading and search.

Do plans limit connected repositories?

No. Plans are based on members, indexed files, and Team features. RepoWiki may still add fair-use source limits as billing and usage data mature.

How does the free plan limit work?

Free includes two members, workspace search, sync activity, and 150 indexed files. Workspaces are free to create, so you can keep separate projects or teams cleanly separated while you test the reading loop.

Can a larger team use the Team plan?

Yes. Team includes five members, MCP server beta access, and fair-use MCP limits. Extra members and extra indexed-file blocks keep growth predictable before a larger rollout needs a custom conversation.

What does MCP server beta include?

Team workspaces can expose read-only MCP tools, resources, and prompts for source-backed search, document reads, context packets, claim checks, and freshness checks, using scoped bearer tokens for technical clients or OAuth for hosted connectors. Responses include structured content, JSON text fallback, source metadata, recent activity, and monthly usage limits. Higher-volume MCP traffic needs a custom plan.

What does Lens preview include?

Lens can answer from indexed workspace docs with citations, durable threads, scopes, and read-only boundaries. Preview usage is included with monthly limits while answer quality evidence matures.

Why does Free include two members?

RepoWiki is easier to evaluate when one teammate can read the same workspace. Paid plans expand the shared library once more people and files need access.

How is RepoWiki priced differently from public docs suites?

RepoWiki is priced around private project libraries, not public docs portals or broad company wikis.

What if we need higher limits?

Start with Team, add members or file blocks predictably, and contact us when you need larger limits, onboarding help, or account-level requirements.

Bring more teams into the workspace.

Need more members or rollout support?

Team is the base plan for larger groups too. Add members at $4/month, add indexed-file blocks at $5 per 1,000 files/month, and contact us when onboarding or larger document volumes need a plan.
